The native app for android and windows still won't recognize the setup if you turn the board and play white. They said it is fixed with the IOS app and promised a fix for android in a "few weeks"

However it works perfectly with Chess Dojo, Chess for Android and Lucaschess on windows.

If online play is the idea, the only option is to use IOS or use standard setup according to the coordinates.
