Hi Thorsten,
I don't think so. Because if you have a contact problem there should be no function in the display at all ... Maybe if one pin has a contact problem I could imagine that some dots in the matrix will not work ... But: Some information are displayed correct and some not? I don't think that this is a hardware problem ... but nevertheless ... you never know ... So I think the user should try both: Try a different EPROM and testting the module in a second board. IMO this sounds like a miscommunication between
BOARD and MODULE. it is the BOARD who controls all features, the board is kind of GUI like Arena. the module is like an UCI engine. Which board you use it ? do you have another board or know another person who is willing to allow you to test your module in his board ? |
