my own Sensory 9b (I don't own any opening modul) behaves the same.

I also used Franz's CB-Emu to check:
- the emulated 9 v1 (fscc9a1=non-b) reproduces the same blunder
- the CB16 modul hands over to the engine instead of playing 7. ... e6 from book
- the CB9 modul plays 9. ...Kf8 as single available move in the book, and if the player takes over black side to blunder 9. ...Kd7, the CB9 has no prepared move and the engine starts thinking.

Thanx very much for testing!
I have to admit that I still not installed this great CB-Emu, as I did not want to stare at computer screens too much, and liked to stick with my physical chess computers. But for this purpose it really is a great help.
And 9... Kf8 seems indeed the best move in this position.
