Sollte es nicht "PLAY normal" heißen?

Nun, es heißt ja auch 'PLAY normal'!
Das letzte 'l' verschwindet nur, wenn man das TurboKing-Fenster zu stark verkleinert, aber das ist ein MAME-Problem und daran kann ich leider auch nichts ändern.

Nun hab ich doch nochmal eine Frage zum Mephisto II. Was genau bewirkt die Model-Einstellung jetzt. Ist das dann nur die höhere Taktfrequenz oder ist das auch schon das verbesserte Programm, welches im ESB II zum Einsatz kam? (Das wäre dann im wesentlichen der Mirage aber auf dem 1802-Prozessor mit 6,irgendwas MHz, wenn ich das richtig in Erinnerung habe)

Bei den ganzen Miniänderungen die Hegener & Glaser damals gemacht hat, kommt man langsam etwas ins Schleudern...

Das ändert tatsächlich nur die Frequenz, dieses '(Model 1/2)' soll nur ein Hinweis auf die Standard-Frequenz der beiden Modelle sein, aber natürlich kann man beide Geschwindigkeiten für Mephisto I und II einstellen. Das ROM der verbesserten Programmversion haben wir ja (noch) nicht.

I have done reverse engineering of Novag Super System III, and yesterday I sent all the data to hap. So we will soon be able to enjoy this computer properly emulated as well. Thanks to MikeChess for providing a unit for its study.

On the other hand achimp has sent me a group of chess computers and ROMs so that I can do the romdumps (and reverse engineering when needed): Novag Constellation 3.6, Mephisto IIIb, Mephisto ESB II, Novag Super Sensor IV, Novag Sensor Dynamic, Novag Savant II, etc.

Edition: Everything Achim sent me is physical. When I say ROMs I mean the chips, so I have to do the romdumps in order to send the binary files to hap and Franz.

Nooo... It will be the next. I already have a unit to make reverse engineering, donated by a good friend. But I need two or three days of peace of mind to do it.

Right now I'm working on Super System III emulation based on detailed info from Berger (it's not a 1-day job). Does someone have a complete unit? I want to see the PCB of the chessboard LCD module. I really expect an MCU on there, maybe a Fairlight F8.
