Fuer den Atari 8 Bit waren die 2 Renner Colossus 3 was eigentlich nicht bei C64 existiert und Sargon III. Colossus 3 war ziemlich exklusiv fuer den Atari.

Bei MSX gab es auch einiges. MSX Chess, Cyrus II Chess, Colossus 4, Chessmaster 2000, Megachess, Ultrachess, MSX II Chess Game (das 3d Schachbrett sieht ein bischen aus wie Kittinger's Mychess).

Ich empfehle den Fans der alten Konsolen, sich mal mit Retroarch tiefer zu befassen … gibt es mittlerweile für fast alle Plattformen …

Has anyone seen Chess 2.0 for Amiga. It was supposedly shareware based on a John Stanbeck program and created by Kaufman?

I think I managed to get it, but it is a files collection that first needs to be written on a floppy disk (see chess.doc).

Using WinUAE emulator I usually play some chess games, where the program is already on a floppy disk image (.uae or .adf); yet I am no Amiga user and I have no clue how to create an Amiga floppy disk image, format it then import the files into it.

Should anyone know how to, please give it a try and feedback!

I loaded the dms file directly into the A Drive (drive 0) of Winuae Amiga and it works. The drives read the dms. The first time it crashed the second time after reloading WinUAE it worked.
