This will be my last comment here. I enjoyed the discussions, specialy about the Centaur. I’m still convinced that for me and a lot of other chess lovers it’s a great companion. Not in the last place for children who just start to play chess. I’ve seen it myself. Why my last comment? I’m sorry to tell you that a few weeks ago I was diagnosed with cancer, incurable. I’m treated with chemo, but that is just to extend, unknown for how long. I thank you for having me as a guest and whish you all the best. Greetings, Eric. I am shocked about these bad news. But never give up. I know that in some cases the doctors said "it is incurable" but then it happened and the cancer was gone. I am really sorry to hear about your devastating news. I myself have survived the dreaded prostate cancer but live with fear that it might return. I will miss your posts here as I am sure everyone here will. I am not a religious man but my "thoughts" are with you and your family. Bryan |

Dear Eric,
Your message hurts and you have my full sympathy. In these moments, words cannot express any consolation, but I would like to do so. Keep faithful and don't surrender - there is always hope, even if Medicine naturally reaches it limits. Somehow, we're are all some kind of "voyagers" on that temporary journey.
