Aber einbauen kann man es ja trotzdem schon mal... Dann steht es optional zur Verfügung wenn die Prozis schnell genug sind. Und auch 50 oder 75 MHz wären ja erst mal eine Option :-)

Dass es 10 Jahre dauert glaube ich auch eher nicht. Vielleicht 2-3 Jahre.

Multiple program revisions exist and the differences between them(even oldest compared to newest) are very minor.

hap, I think you should swap mm2d and mm2e, because the mm2d in your current driver is definitely the oldest version (showing only multiples of x.11 as evaluation), and your usual ordering system is from newest (set 1) to oldest (set 6).

die neue ROM-Version für den MM II ist jetzt eingebaut ("v2" in CB-Emu bzw. "set 3" in MessExtra/MessChess) - danke an Berger und hap für das ROM.
Lieber wäre mir zwar wieder mal ein neues Gerät gewesen, aber man nimmt eben was man bekommt - anscheinend gibt's keine ROMs für neue Schachcomputer mehr auf dem Markt.

In MessExtra und MessChess hat sich dabei die Anzahl der Module nicht geändert, weil ich dafür eine Version des MM II wieder herausgenommen habe - die war nämlich 2-mal vorhanden (2x16kB ROM und 1x32kB ROM, aber mit völlig identischem Programm), und das macht nicht wirklich Sinn.

Da sich doch eine Menge Dateien bzw. Bezeichnungen geändert haben, sollte man unbedingt die komplette neue Version verwenden (außer es ist jemand an diesem weiteren MMII-ROM ohnehin nicht interessiert, dann kann man natürlich auch bei der vorigen Version bleiben).

If anyone has a chess computer that is not yet emulated, you can comment here. If we check that its hardware design allows the dump of the ROM, you can send it to me so that I can reverse engineer it, do the romdumping, etc. in order to emulate it. Shipping costs can be shared: I will pay for the shipment of the chess computer back to its owner.

Edit.2: Although this is not a chess computer, because of its similarity I can think of no better place than here to comment on it: we also need the Novag Gomoku romdump. The driver is already done.

The chess engine is 1:1 identical to the Limited Edition, it just runs at normal CPU speed.
