I have now tested your new BLE-connection in LucasChess, Shredder and Arena with all Millennium boards and can confirm that it worked straight away everywhere. This makes the connection to Windows even faster and more stable! Are there any further improvements (even faster connection) to be expected in the future?

The next version, in the new year, will be aimed more towards the e-One board. The BLE connection will be most useful there as that board always runs off its battery so saving power will be important. This version of the driver does apparently work with that board but there are some extra commands I need to allow for so that setting up different starting positions will work properly there too.

Other improvements are normally prompted by people asking me to add things, as you are all far more imaginative than me!!

I have updated my driver (version 3.1 now). It now only loads the BLE library files if you actually select 'BluetoothLE' as the connection type. This means you don't need to install the Visual C++ library if you aren't going to be using the BLE option.

It has also been updated to allow the starting position to be specified for the eOne board for times when you don't want the game to start from the standard position.

My eOne finally works with my Win10 laptop via BTLe.
Thanks a lot for this. Just played some games with Shredder13 and apart from minor problems when mixing up things by letting Shredder suggest the best move, everything went smooth and reliable.

Do you know of a way to play on chess.com via Win10? I fiddled around with diverse setups, but never succeeded in getting this going. The only way right now is with my old Android tablet and the chess.com app. Unfortunately this seem to work only when playing against humans and not against the engines there.
