Über Mephisto B&P / Blitz „v25.2”:
- Die Engine und damit auch die Spielstärke und der Spielstil sind dieselben wie 1985.

Neue Funktionen:
- Anzeige der Bewertungszahl: +-99,99 oder +- 126, wenn die Zahl >=100 ist.
Die Bewertung wird mit der INFO-Taste angezeigt.
Jedes Mal, wenn INFO ausgewählt wird, zeigt B&P nun abwechselnd die
Zugtiefe und die vorgeschlagenen Züge auf dem Brett (wie zuvor) sowie die Bewertungszahl an.
Ein positiver Wert bedeutet, dass der Computer besser steht.

- Anzeige der Anzahl der Züge bis zum Schachmatt, z. B. „M 5” oder „-M 5” für Schachmatt in 5 Zügen.

- Fehler im Eröffnungsbuch korrigiert (2 unzulässige Züge, die zum Absturz/falschen Spiel von B&P führen konnten)

- Anzeige, ob ein Zug aus dem Eröffnungsbuch stammt oder nicht.
Dies wird im LCD-Display mit einem „:” zwischen dem Ausgangs- und dem Zielfeld angezeigt.
Beispiel: „E2:E4” (Zug aus dem Buch)
Beispiel: „B1A3“ (kein Zug aus dem Buch)

- Möglichkeit zur Verwendung von HG240 (MM2-Eröffnungsmodul), d. h. B&P verwendet es anstelle seines eigenen Buches.

- Anzeige von „H240“ anstelle von „PLAY“, wenn ein HG240-Modul erkannt wird.

About Mephisto B&P / Blitz "v25.2":
- The engine, and therefore, playing strength and style are the same as in 1985.

New features added:
- Display of the evaluation score: +-99.99 or +- 126 when score is >=100.
The evaluation is displayed using the INFO key.
Each time INFO is selected, B&P now alternately displays the
ply depth and the suggested moves on the board (as before), and the evaluation score.
A positive value means that the computer is better.

- Display of # moves to checkmate, e.g. “M 5” or “-M 5” for checkmate in 5 moves.

- Errors in the opening book corrected (2 illegal moves, which could cause B&P to crash/play incorrectly)

- Display of whether a move comes from the opening book or not.
This is shown in the LCD display with a “:” between the from and to squares.
Example: "E2:E4" (book move)
Example: "B1A3" (not a book move)

- Ability to use HG240 (MM2 opening module), i.e. B&P uses it instead of its own book.

- Display of “H240” instead of “PLAY” if an HG240 module is detected.
