The PCBs do have the 18-pin edge connector for modules. And the V2-V10 manual(Fidelity_Elite_Avant_Garde_Custom_DE.pdf) briefly mentions the module slot at section 6.4.
Ok, so Fidelity has planned to make any modules for these devices, but it seems they never really released any modules for the V2-V10 (at least there's no mention of such modules anywhere).
So removing this line SOFTWARE_LIST(...) was enough, that the CB9 and CB16 can't be selected accidental for these devices.
BTW, there's a new ROM set on the way (by email) for you ...
