For me its still strange to see how GK2100 crushes Milano so easy because they are rated very close to each other...

Next tourney will be played at 1hour/game with main opening lines exept Spanish for TK, so I hope for it will show better result. Also the competition will be kind of "handicap": H8-based devices will stay to have 30min per game!
Some of this is because Morsch is the author. His null-move innovation only made it into his own programs before the dedicated market collapsed and development of new engines halted. Morsch's programs thus get through the first 6 iterations very quickly. I found the Cosmos (same program as GK2100) even beats the Sapphire II at speed levels, despite a nominal 100 point elo disadvantage at Active time controls, and the 10 MHz vs 32 MHz speed handicap!
