Yes Arena is weird. When I just open Arena it defaults to Resurrection Rybka in the text. Now since the last time I manually set up a position was when Deep Shredder played (Grob Opening) it shows Deep Shredder. Even though I am playing CSTal2. Usually when you start a game it will show the engine that you are playing and Resurrection Rybka switches to opponent. But I can only guess when you set up a position it no longer does that. Since now it is showing Deep Shredder instead of Resurrection Rybka and instead of CSTal2 even though I am currently playing CSTa2.

So I can never really figure out Arena other than having to remember to correct it after a game. And I have been using it for years because I love it's MPV analysis options that I think are superior to others I have tried including Chessbase. Especially if you want to download the analysis and use it for other tests that you create.
