It's never "final version" ;D
Here's a quick list of chesscomputers again, if Berger ever obtains one for repairs (or borrows one from a collector), it can be dumped and emulated. I probably missed some.
I did not include one-off prototypes or tournament chess computers. I did not include ones with SH1 CPU, which is currently not known how to dump. Maybe there are people (like Sean Riddle) who could figure out how to dump this chip, but chesscomputers with this MCU are too expensive to just buy 1 to experiment on. Oh, and I also did not include HMCS40/HMCS400, though Sean can dump those.
Chess King:
- Philidor (Z80)
- Counter Gambit (6301)
CXG:
- Chess 3000 (Z80)
- Chess 3008 (6301)
- Sphinx 40/50 Plus (6502)
- Sphinx Accolade/Concerto/Legend (H8) Excalibur Avenger?
Excalibur:
- Grandmaster (H8)
Fidelity:[COLOR="lime"]
- Travel Master (H8)
- Little Chesster (MCU, but probably can be dumped) (both versions)
- SC6 modules: Book Openings I, Greatest Games
- Mini Chess Challenger modules: Greatest Games
- other modules: 64 Greatest Games, Tarrasch Defense
H+G(Mephisto):
- Mondial module: MM 1000
- MM VI (H8)
Novag:
- Star Sapphire (H8)
- Ruby (H8)
- Obsidian (H8)
- Xiangqi (Chinese Chess, there are 2 newer ones, maybe H8)
SciSys/Saitek:
- Sensor Chess module: Hyper Modern Super Strong
- Brute Force module (H8)
- President (H8)
Other:
- Intellect-02 modules: Kalah (any more?)
- GGM/MGS modules: Monitor (Master Kriegspiel), Borchek
- Conchess modules: Victoria opening library (and currently we only have the prototype Victoria?)
- CLJ L'Empereur (no hopes, too rare)
- Milton Bradley Phantom/Milton/Grandmaster
Excalibur Phantom & Fidelity Phantoms
I marked in Green what I have and in blue what I think I have but would have to check.
I wish you were in the USA then I am sure I could help. But shipping to Europe and back is just not something that I would do nowadays & too expensive.
Regards
Nick
