ChessGenius Version C22 (Changes from previous version C20)


1. Endgame knowledge improvements:
• Bishop & wrong edge pawn
• Bishops of opposite colours
• Improved Rook endgames (placing the rook behind passed pawn, cutting off the opponent's king)


2. Engine improvements:
• Improved time management (especially for predicted moves in permanent brain)
• Castling right valued more strongly


3. Special opening books:
• 7 different special book selections have been added to the book menu (no need to download user books anymore)
• Special book options: Open Games, Spanish, Semi-Open Games, Sicilian, Queen‘s Gambit, Indian Openings, Gambits
• Games are transposing into Master book, if no moves found in user books


4. Selectable playing styles:
• There are now 3 different playing styles: NORMAL, ACTIVE, SOLID.
• ACTIVE is more likely to avoid a draw, whereas SOLID is more likely to accept a draw.


5. Additional INFO page showing new information:
• Display of ECO codes and opening names (in English and German)
• Display of calculated nodes per second
