Chess Opening Repertoire Builder (aka CORB)

Hi all,
for some reason I was using Steam and looked after the keyword 'chess'.
CORB looked interesting, and is free - I gave it a try. Really nice and potentially useful!

Here is a link to a video:

If you don't access (or dislike) Steam, you can find a slightly older version here.

Some additional information, from my own exploration:

- the embedded engine is Caissa 1.17 (using a single core, 3559 on CCRL 40/15). It can be used to easily add moves in the tree you are building up; once a move is registered the engine removes it from the proposed list (5 PVs): this way you may enter the mainline move, then add secondary ones as you want.

- the engine is as well used (with target ELO and thinking time limitation) to enable playing from any position.

- trick: there is no setting to import/select another engine (and I would recommend staying with the embedded Caissa for the above playing feature) but I could use other UCI engines with simply renaming the Caissa exe file for backup, and renaming the expected replacement engine as the original Caissa one. This can be automatically done using a small bat or cmd file. My use case: to spawn moves into an opening tree, I wanted to rely on last Lc0 + huge neural net. The openings knowledge is awesome here.

MfG,
Tibono
