Each and every time my grand-daughter (7yo) comes home, she asks for my Vonset L6 and plays a couple of games. I am very happy with her interest in chess triggered by the cool features; the colored lighting of squares really helps her get fun with less fear for wrong moves.

I can imagine the enthusiasm a device like the SenseRobot would spark in her mind.

I think that's a key point: you have to look at it with children eyes.

We, as CC fans, remind our children eyes with old stuff we collect and play with. Even if playing with modern hardware, we appreciate finding classic programs inside (like emulations within the Phoenix, The King or Genius, and more). Not to forget the marvelous CB-Emu software that belongs to the same league (old classics revival on up-to-date hardware). We want to know about the chess programs and who programmed these. And as grown-ups, price, service and durability matter amongst some other motives I can't list all (origin, vendor, climate sustainability...).
