Yes, this appears to be similar to the robotic chess computer by Particula called GoChess, especially the 4 robot version where 4 pieces can be moved at once. However, that won't be released until the first quarter of 2025. Maybe, Chessnut will beat them to it?
My opinion is that robot chess is interesting to watch and despite having backed the GoChess project, I have to agree with many comments made that it's more of a novelty. I have no idea how reliable it will be, and how quickly the robots will make the moves. I suspect manually making the move will still be quicker.
Perhaps a couple of areas where robotic chess has an advantage is for watching a live game from the internet and seeing the moves being made on a real board without having to move the pieces. If this works I can see it being quite interesting. Also, playing someone remotely I think again robotic chess could be quite good.
However, for self study then the automatic movement would be distracting.
I will review the Gochess 4 robot machine when I get it next year.
