I understand, just didn't want people to think it could not analyse a position. As you say, to solve a mate problem and stop with the move is not possible with CGPro analysis mode, except of course it may find a better solution than a normal level, but would need you to examine the evaluation in the display.
I actually have not seen a computer with the analysis mode you speak of, so didn't think the CGPro was unusual in this respect. However, it would be an interesting feature to have.
I guess you prefer using the normal levels to solve problems instead of using the problem solving mode as a test of the engine's capability? This is quite interesting although does not necessarily mean that an engine unable to solve a chess puzzle is weaker than one that can in normal play.
