As I have the original Chess Genius, the Chess Genius Pro and the Chess Genius Element for the Exclusive board, don't think I'll be investing in another Chess Genius for a while. That said, I do think the design is better than the original and the colour display is a bonus. I can see that this form factor is great for portability.

As for using the same processor, I don't see this as a disadvantage. The machine is probably strong enough for most and as we know, Lang programs don't scale up so well on faster processors. A faster processor may not improve it enough for the increased cost.
