Hi Chuck,

Thank you for this!

Interesting, that the Obsidian did not solve Nr. 12; the Turquoise (should have the same program, only about 20% slower) found it in 91 secs (BT2630; Nr. 12 is the same in both tests)

Did your Obsidian maybe discard "De4", before the 15' were over?

Also interesting, that some results are nearly equal (Nr. 3 and 22) and at Nr. 8 the Obs. is 3 times faster!

But considering the Star Ruby's 27", i would say that the 97secs of the T. are maybe not correct.

I will test Nr. 8 with my Emerald classic plus (also 26,6 MHz like the Turquoise)

I will re-check the positions you mention, except No. 3 which I ran twice - as you know running 30 positions for 15 minutes each takes a lot of time! But I do have an Emerald Classic Plus as well, so I can test No. 3 and 8 with it. I'm not sure how the Turquoise, ECP, and Obsidian all relate, but I didn't see any of them on the Schachcomputer list so I thought the it might be good to add the Obsidian.

Cheers,

Chuck

The Emerald found "De4" (Qe4) also after about 90 secs and kept it 30mins (then i interupted the search)

The Emerald found it in 34", which seems to correspond with S.R.'s and your Obsidians result!

They all have the same program, only the Obsidian is slightly faster (the manual says 2x16 MHz; T and ECP can be considered identical (only different casings), both with 26,6 MHz)

It is always a good idea, to add new results to the list; even if it only confirms the correctness of the former entries! We already found so many incorrect entries...
