MESS-Emulation in der Wiki
 

Hi,

ich hab heute zufällig gesehen, daß in der Wiki bei den MESS-Emulationen jetzt die Programmliste (Programs.txt) enthalten ist:

Leider ist diese Liste nicht auf dem aktuellen Stand, es fehlen ungefähr die letzten 20 Emulationen.
Vielleicht könnte jemand, der in der Wiki Änderungen vornehmen kann, diese Liste aktualisieren, also mit derjenigen aus der letzten CB-Emu-Version ersetzen.
Wenn das Projekt nun schon mal beendet ist, das sollte es in der Wiki wenigstens auch auf dem letzten Stand sein. ;)

Although on this forum we have the habit of calling it MESS, officially it doesn't exist anymore. 2015, the MESS project was absorbed by MAME https://www.mamedev.org/releases/whatsnew_0162.txt ; the MESS developers became part of the MAME team. And over time, remaining traces of the separation between MAME (arcade targets) and MESS (everything else) were removed.

There i̶s̶ was still a MESSUI fork over here: https://messui.1emulation.com/
CB-Emu was a fork of that.

All the current chess computer emulation development is in MAME. Even though CB-Emu is finalized, new chess computer drivers wil continue to be added to MAME.

Anyone can compile the updated version of MAME with the Mameui front end at:

https://github.com/Robbbert/mameui.

He updates it frequently, the latest code is from a couple of days ago.

If you want an updated compiled version I recommend you try Mysticum Touch by Guido Marquardt:
