How do you take apart the Mephisto Brikett?
 

Good morning!

After many years I bought the iconic Mephisto III. I would like to clean it because the case and buttons are very dusty, as is the display window (from the outside).

Does anyone know how I can take the unit apart (remove the casing) - I don't see screws anywhere, so I assume the whole thing rests on snaps?

:) Of course I know I will lose my warranty by doing this :)

Es gibt vier Schrauben an der Unterseite, die durch Kunststoffnoppen abgedeckt sind. Unter dem Modul neben der elektrischen Leiste ist Mittig noch eine Schraube.

Thank you for your reply! I have to admit that things are probably different on my device. I have a plastic spout in place of the screws at the corners (it looks from a distance like a black screw, but is not). I also don't have a screw at the module socket. I am attaching pictures.

The first units had no screw in the middle ... and you have to remove the black plasic caps ... below are the screws ... ;)
