SSDF = 1734, dutch ELO-list = 1888, Wiki = 1972

Im a bit confused how strong this unit plays in fact?

1888? 1972?? Thats a nice fake! The real Strenght are 1650 - 1700 Elo, not more.

Its a pity! I was hoping that SuperNova is more or less close to Modena from the same unit's class... wonder how it got such high ratings :raffnix:

Hi Guys,

everything under control here! :)

Just have a look at the columns behind the rating. In the Active List Super Nova played only 29 games, which leads to a expected error margin of +128, -123. In other words, what the Active List really says is: The Elo of Novag Super Nova is somewhere between 2100 and 1849 with a confidence of 95%. You see, there is still much room for more games... ;) So, if anyone knows better, just contribute the games and the margin will get smaller :)

In the Tournament list the Super Nova played already more games and the rating seems to fit better: Here we have 1815 +77 -78 after 60 games.

A real strength somewhere in the range of Super Constellation / Krypton Regency or maybe a bit better seems probable.

I forgot an important step. You won't find these columns in the original Wiki list. You need to click the column heads for Active/Tournament ratings to get to the original lists with detailed statistics. (Or one of the other ways to get to the lists, e.g. at the title page of the community at the moment.)

By the way, there is no "Wiki list".

We have:

• Aktiv Elo Liste (30 sec. per Move & 30 min. per game)
• Turnier Elo Liste (2h / 40 moves)

Both lists are valid for the area 'Schachcomputer.info'.


And we have the SSDF list from the year 1992.


These lists are displayed in the Schachcomputer.info Wiki.

I think these games are already included in the Aktiv-ELO-List. The Super Nova is certainly no slouch, but its hard to believe its current Aktiv-rating.

ich denke, wir beiden können es auf deutsch versuchen. ;)

Dirk (Supergrobi) hat es ja schon geschrieben. Man darf es sich nicht zu einfach mit den Ratings machen, also nur auf die reine Zahl schauen. Ein Blick auf die Statistik sollte immer erfolgen.

Mag sein, das die Elo Zahl momentan etwas zu hoch ist. Allerdings ist das auch nur eine Vermutung, da bisher keine Ratings für den Aktivschach Bereich vorlagen. Die vorhandenen Ratings bezogen sich auf die Turnierstufe (2h / 40 Züge).

SSDF 1734 - Wie kommt dieses Resultat zustande? Keine Ahnung. Wie immer ein großes Rätsel.

Unsere Turnierliste: 1815. Diese Partien kann ich komplett darlegen. Auch finden sich alle Gegner in der Statistikübersicht.

Genau das ist der große Unterschied. Ich bin doch nur "des Teufels Advokat". Es werden Partien gespielt und ich werte diese aus, nach gewissen Vorgaben. Es ist nichts Geheimes an den Wertungen. Alles erklärt und nachvollziehbar.

Und der Super Nova liegt momentan auf "Aktiv" bei 1972.

Statistik:

Gegner-Elo (Durchschnitt): 1886
Gespielte Partien: 29
Gewinnquote: 62,1%
Remis Quote: 13,8%
Fehlertoleranz: +128 -123 d.h., ich darf die momentane Elo noch nicht sonderlich als gefestigt ansehen. ;)

Es ist nur ein Anfang. Aber besser ein Anfang, der zumindest auf Fakten beruht, als gar keine Infos.

Wer meint, die Elo ist völlig falsch, an den geht (wie immer) die Bitte um weitere Partien, welche die Elo verbessern.

Da die Partien wohl alle schon recht alt sind dürfte die Korrektur der SSDF um 100 Elo-Punkte die Differenz zwischen 1642 und 1734 erklären.

Many thanks everybody! I thought this device is stronger cause CCR said there is Selektive Search from SuperForte B/C serie had been incorporated, but according to BT-2450 rating 1708 looks more like BruteForce technics inherited from earlier Supremo (1988-year)...
