Hi,

ich hab das externe Artwork für den Novag Chinese Chess nochmals etwas verbessert:
Die schwarzen Figuren sind jetzt grün (also Bio :D) - sollten wohl laut Bezeichnung der Farb-LED rechts unten auch so sein.
In der Tastenleiste rechts vom Brett habe ich die chinesischen Zeichen ebenfalls durch diese Figuren ersetzt, und außerdem die Figuren-Bezeichnungen (rechts von den Tasten) auf Namen geändert, die auch auf allen gängigen Xiangqi-Webseiten üblich sind.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but this thread is so long I'd probably never find it!

Is it possible to take-back moves using Arena and have the emulation engine accept it? I've tried using the yellow back button and it shows the take back in Arena but it doesn't seem to get sent to the engine.

No, taking back moves is not implemented in the plugins.

Hi,
there is a workaround that works with any computer featuring enabled setup in the plugin: take back the moves in Arena, copy FEN to clipboard, new game, paste FEN to clipboard, resume playing.

If any useful, save the PGN beforehand.

Some plugins store the new board position directly into the emulated chess computer memory, then it is very fast (e.g. the Fidelity Chess Challenger 7). Others using the native keyed-in process require some time but it is still rather fast.

wieder einmal zeigt sich, dass manche Hersteller von Virenscannern einfach nur "merkwürdig" sind ... nicht nur, dass Norton seit Jahren (nicht nur) bei der Mess Emu so viel Ärger machte, dass ich ihn von meinen PCs geworfen habe ... nein, nun ist auch die Webseite von Franz sehr gefährlich und bekannt ... offenbar kurz vor Terrorismus ...

Hallo Sascha,
interessant - als nächstes werden dann nicht nur CB-Emu oder meine Webseite, sondern vielleicht auch ich selbst zum Terroristen erklärt!? :D
Dann bereite ich mich also am besten schon mal auf einen Besuch vom FBI, CIA oder Interpol vor ... ;)
