Hallo Franz,
so, nachdem ich die Verzeichnisse für Glasgow und Co wieder gelöscht habe, bleiben MMI (b) und Mirage übrig, die ja auch im Hauptpaket eingebunden sind. Der Mirage läuft ja perfekt.

Könntest Du das Display Problem beim MMI (b) lösen? :bitte:

Beim Glasgow und den Briketts (inkl. den ESB Versionen) bleibe ich dann bei Deinen Layouts (auch wenn die Grafik vom Glasgow schon klasse ist und auch das 2D Modular Design wirklich gut gelungen ist).

I tried the Mame Version, it works. Nevertheless, I like the Mess interface much more and made my own "look & feel" for it:

So I really hope, Franz will fix the Display problem for the MM I / MM Ib ... then I have a great Mirage, MM I from you!

It would be great to have your boards within the "old Mess Emu" but I understand that you are concentrate your work for the new Mess Extra version.

hab's jetzt eine Stunde lang versucht - vergeblich.
Keine Ahnung was in diesem Artwork nicht stimmt, hab auch keine Lust mich noch länger mit etwas zu beschäftigen, was jemand anders verbockt hat, sorry.

zwei Fragen. Kann man als Laie einfach zum Beispiel Deine Grafiken von den Briketts in die WB Version einbinden?

Und da Du ja die "nicht WB Versionen" aus dem großen Paket gelöscht hast: Kann ein Volldepp wie ich die wieder einbinden? Wenn das ginge, würde ich sie mir wieder in mein Paket basteln ... und die Glasgow Version mit "meinem Brett" von Luis, zumal auch seine Modular Version mit 2D sehr schön ist.

Hallo Sascha,
ja, das geht einfach, dazu brauchst Du nur die Dateien 'mephisto/2/2e/3.zip' aus dem artwork-Verzeichnis von MessExtra in jenes von MessChess kopieren.
Allerdings hast Du dann in Wnboard auch dieses Extra-Schachbrett, das ich bei den Mephistos ja zusätzlich noch gemacht habe - das ist zwar unter Winboard überflüssig, aber das wieder wegzubringen würde wieder mehr Arbeit erfordern.
Nee, das kann nicht nur ein Volldepp nicht, das könnte auch eine Intelligenzbestie nicht. :D
Das läßt sich nur im Sourcecode von CB-Emu wieder einbauen und würde eine neue Kompilierung erfordern.

If you need the MESSUi interface, there is no problem, just download and unzip in the folder MessExtra:

Hi,
another very simple way to handle the "non-WB" ones, should you prefer to use some:

- eventually remove the WB version from corresponding folder opened using CB-Emu (to make clear the one you like is not there)

- create a small batch file to directly launch from MessExtra - for instance in the CB-Emu directory, create a "Mephisto II.bat" file including
@echo off
cd MessExtra
start MessExtra mephisto2

that's all... adapt the "mephisto2" sample parameter according to the device you want to launch... then you may organize your chess links, including one to CB-Emu.exe and a few ones for the directly accessed MessExtra emulations, linked to your .bat (or .cmd) files.
