Hallo Mark,
ok, Dein Wunsch ist mir Befehl! ;)

Neues Update mit ein paar kleineren Änderungen:
1) Fidelity CSC & VSC: Plugins minimal geändert
2) Fidelity CSCE: ROM ist Travemuende-Version, 4MHz auf 5MHz geändert
3) Saitek CCMK5 & CCMK6: Cursor-Pad jetzt auch diagonal nutzbar (Mausklick auf eine der 4 Ecken)

PS: hab noch vergessen zu erwähnen, daß ich die in MessChess enthaltene Arena-GUI (3.51) umkonfiguriert habe. Und zwar habe ich die Zugliste rechts entfernt (ist ja nicht unbedingt nötig), sodaß sich jetzt die Fenster von Arena und einer gestarteten Engine nicht mehr überlappen - sieht jetzt also ähnlich aus wie bei WinBoard.
Wem das nicht gefällt, der braucht nur die Datei 'ArenaGUI_MAX.cfg' wieder über 'ArenaGUI.cfg' drüberkopieren (oder eine eigene GUI-Konfiguration verwenden), die neue Darstellung ist zusätzlich auch als Datei 'ArenaGUI_MIN.cfg' gespeichert.

I hope you were joking.

Source code cleanups and refactors are not uncommon for huge projects like MAME. They may seem unnecessary for end users, I agree.

And, even the Mephisto drivers have places where they can still be improved. For example the LED handling in Mega IV/Super Mondial, they're supposed to have 3-color leds like Saitek Stratos.

Hallo Leute,

Berger sent rom dumps of the Saitek modular chesscomputers: Leonardo, Galileo, Rennaisance. This may pave the road to modules Maestro, Analyst, Brute Force, Sparc. =)
Two of the boards use the 6301Y, but I think it's not using the (undumped) internal ROM at all, very lucky there!

Also, Sean Riddle dumped SciSys Executive Chess, the handheld chesscomputer that's known as Senator Chess in Germany. I hope to finish the driver soon.

Wow, I remember when I did beta test for the first SciSys leonardo,
Then came the first module maestro A.


I think I paid 350 DM for the first prototype that looked very ugly but worked

Long long time ago.

We were so enthusiastic because the leonardo had so many unique interface features no other dedicated chess computer had,
A pity that Saitek did not developed it any further.

E.g. when we connected the leonardo to our home computers, we were able to save the main lines and evals and the game score.
Before we had to write the games scores down on paper and it was a pain in the ass,
With the leonardo this changed.

And the feature of the sendinfos was a step into the future,

When we do ANALYSIS on a normal pc engine, we see the leonardo , only that it was done much earlier.

CXG Sensor Computachess, und Portachess II sind emuliert. Haben der HMCS40 chess engine von Mark Taylor.
