Hi, seems like Fidelity Mach-II C+ v2 (and maybe other versions too) has a bug with promotion similar to Novag Super Expert (that was fixed): when a human player makes a queen and Mach-II ponder-hits this with immediate answer, than it shows its move one the display but field sensors dont respond and the game cant be continued...

Are you talking about playing yourself in MessExtra, or with Winboard (and the plugin)?

In MESS??? There's no MESS in CB-Emu - there's CB-Emu, MessExtra or MessChess (which uses Winboard).

I meant CB-Emu.exe of course :) - the main one. I do manage my comp vs comp tourneys manually.

Well, in CB-Emu the Fidelity Mach-II C+ v2 is executed directly (i.e. by CB-Emu itself) and of course doesn't use any chess plugin.

I've tried it now myself and everything works fine, so the bug must be on your side. ;)
If you make the promotion move (with this Mach II), then immediately after the pawn move the display shows 'Pr' and waits, until you press one of the piece buttons (Q/R/B/N) - after that the pawn is (automatically!) replaced by the selected piece, and only then the Mach II responds with its next move (even if it's a ponder hit).
So what's actually your problem with it?

I press queen button, so queen piece appears on board, than Mach-II shows its reply at display and mark the first square where its piece is placed with led (as it always normally), but clicking on this field doesnt produce any effect so I cant move it to the next square... it happened the same 3 times here:

Well, I can't reproduce this behaviour here, so what should or could I do?

I just report about, nothing more :)
(probably board response timings are too fast like is was with Novags?)

Thankfully those situations occurred rarely and all promotion moves claimed the resulting positions ;)
