Eine Schachengine: https://www.chessprogramming.org/Crystal

So wie ich verstanden habe: Stockfish-Derivat mit Schachwissen für Festungen und besondere Schachprobleme.

Hi,

LC0 TCEC 2022 running with BLAS backend on my old laptop (no GPU) reaches a minuscule 4.6 nps due to the massive 512x15 neural network, nevertheless finds instantly the right move and keeps it after 10 minutes running.

Hello Eric,
quite interesting.
The latest official network 809657 (19x512) can't solve it (Ng7? after 2h, depth 25/45).

Where did you get your network from?

Best regards,
Frank

Hi Frank,

the network is the 806638 you can find here. Once downloaded, I would suggest to rename it to something easier to use, such as 512x15_806638.lc0 (I like to keep a reminder of the NN architecture within the name).

What is important as well, is to apply specific settings. I failed to track back where from I got all the information, but here is attached a snapshot where I underlined the non-default settings that need to be reproduced. Threads and NNCacheSize can be tuned according to your own configuration (and of course Backend, if you can use a GPU)

You need as well to use the correct version - I use the 029.0-rc0.exe which is consistent, generation-wise. But I assume the 0.29.0 can be used alike.

MfG,
Eric
