Hi All

I have two Milton Bradleys which have exactly the same fault.
Both machines go through the starting sequence OK.
Then when they have to move a chesspiece, the magnetic arm goes to the piece, goes to move it, then judders a few times, stops, the lights on the control panel all come on, then flash in sequence.
This happens whether you start a game by making the first move, or press auto.

One of the Milton Bradleys had always worked perfectly until this fault developed. The other one was bought to replace it.

The magnetic arm moves fine and the pulleys and belts all look OK.

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has experienced the same fault and been able to repair it, or has any idea what could be wrong?
