Das wochenende in Leiden war kein gutem erfolg fur dem Resurrection. Ich habe experimentiert mit dem Hash und einstellungen die 2.02 / Ruffian un das war nicht gut. In einem Turnier mit R40, Fildelity 11 und London Turniermachine war dem resurrection sogar nicht gut. Nur 4 remis und 2 verliere. Muss mir noch mal gut analysieren was da nicht gut war. Wahrscheinllich war dem 1 MB hash das problem. Die ubrigen 7MB hab ich genutzt fur logging.

Gratuliere an Hans van Mierlo fur einem sehr gute turnier. Er hat die 1e und 2e platz von 4 bekommen. Super...

In this weekend Leiden was a deception. I was fiddling around with hash and some small tweaks under 2.02 / Ruffian but it was not a good test. I made 4 ties and 2 losses in a tournament with a R40, Fidelity 11 and the Tournament machine London. I have to analyse what went wrong. Probably the 1 MB hash which i set because i reserved 7MB for logging.

Congratulations towards Hans van Mierlo for his outstanding performance by winning with both the fidelity 11 and the London. A great job !!

thats quite normal I guess, the project is just at the beginning. Lets have a look at the games and do some analysis. I was already thinking about a feature to adjust the HT size depending on the level, because using HT normally takes some time. Obviously its not that easy...

Resurrection is using 8 MB by default (?), what are the remaining 8 MB used for (in the manual you mention 16 MB overall memory)?

Die Resurrection hat insgesamt 32MB Ram. Dafur braucht das Operating System von Resurrection etwa 16MB. 4MB is benotigt fur meinem Resurrection program und 12 MB sind fur Hash tables verfugbar. In die 2.02 bekommt Ruffian 12 MB an Hash. In meinem testmodul (dem in Leiden war) habe ich noch extra programme laufen sodas nur 8MB Hash moglich bleibt.

Fur test in die turniere sammle ich alle daten von Ruffian in einem logfile. Weil es eine menge daten gibt habe ich Ruffian nur 1 MB gegeben und dann kann ich 7MB an logging sammlen.

Die 16Mb in die anleitung soll angeben wieviel fur das Resurrection verfugbar ist und diese 16MB stimmt dann. Wie die 16 Mb verteilt wird uber Resurrection program und schachengine muss ich einstellen.

Interessant ist es jedoch um einem variabelen hash zu programmieren. Aber nach diesem turnier habe ich schon bemerkt dat 1 MB hash mit 1 minute pro zug nicht ausrreicht.
