Hello Chess friends.
Ever since owning the Chess Genius Exclusive board, then TheKing module, and then a King Lasker edition, I've been plagued by issues. First, I suffered with the poor quality production runs with dented wood, the flux issue that caused the ChessGenius module to go crazy flashing it's screen, and then again with the King module. Now, my King Lasker is having problems recognizing the Rooks in the corners, and sometimes other pieces on the board. It makes playing a game very frustrating! I also had this issue before and the whole board and module was replaced. Despite all this, I still like the chess computers and this time around have received extra good service. Previously, I would have to post the faulty item back, but this time around they have not asked me to return the board. Not sure if they will, but if not I will have a nice spare board that maybe useful.
The curious thing is, that at the suggestion of Millennium, I removed the bottom cover and when placing the chess pieces on the bottom of the chess board, on the circuit board itself, it seems to work. But this is not the best way to play
Fingers crossed I'm lucky this time!
Regards
Ray
