Das war ein verdienter Remi fuer den Revelation Dallas. In dieser Stellung nach 45 Zuegen hatte sogar der Dallas die Moeglichkeit bekommen fuer einen Durchbruch was vielleicht auch einen Siege ermoeglicht haette. 46. Re5! und auch 46. Qe3 waren in dieser Stellung interessant. Hier ist das Spiel zwischen Revelation Rebell 5 und Resurrection Ruffian.

In dieser Stellung nach vierzig Zuegen war das Spiel immer noch voellig ausgeglichen. Hier dachte ich sogar das es vielleicht noch eine weiteren success gibt fuer die schwaecheren Revelation Programme. Aber gerade jetzt macht der Rebell 5 sein fehler und verliert das Spiel sofort. Ich verstehe nicht wieso er in diese Stellung nicht einfach 41. Kxf3 gespielt hat was voellig ausgeglichen ist. danke für die Berichterstattung und Deine Mühen!  Die Partie Rev Dallas - London 68.030 ist in der Tat erstaunlich. Der Dallas hätte mit etwas Glück einen vollen Punkt ergattern können. Aber schon auf ein Remis hätte ich nie gewettet. Gruß, Sascha

Das war ein harter Kampf. Der Portorose hatte hier seine groesste Schanze fuer ein Sieg. Anstatt 58. Nb6+? haette er 58. Ne6+! oder 58. Re1! spielen sollen. Beide Zuege haetten fuer ein schnellen Sieg gereicht. Aber mit diesen Remi bekommen beide Ihre ersten Punkte in diesen Turnier. Viele Gruesse, Nick

Der große Vancouver ringt die Roma Emulation nieder. Schwarz verschafft Weiß Bauernschwächen auf e5, c3 und baut seine Stellung aus. Die Abwicklung mit 23. ... Sc4 hätte ich nicht gewählt (m.E. ist 23. ... Sd5 stärker) , aber der Vancouver kam mit Mehrbauer und besserer Bauernstruktur ins Turmendspiel. Dort tat er sich zunächst schwer, den Vorteil zu verwerten, aber durch das weiße 51. Te6: ? war der Rest einfach:

Eine Überraschung ist sicherlich die Niederlage des Genius gegen die Amsteram Emulation. Schwarz ließ sich bereits in der Eröffnung die Bauernstellung am Damenflügel zerstören und bekam dafür das Läuferpaar. Danach tauschte er alles ab und verblieb mit der Damenflügelruine im Bauernendspiel.
