Makes sense since Chess King involved the same people.

Intelligent Software went under in 1986 or 1987.

Maybe Bray Research was a new company founded by several ex-employees, or the programmer that worked on Triomphe switched jobs to a different software house.

BTW the following could mean nothing, since both companies created board games software: Intelligent Software also released a Gomoko/Renju game: https://www.mobygames.com/game/49076/gomoku-renju/
