I have made 4 patches for chess computers (Sapphire, Emerald Classic plus, Cougar/Centurion and Conic Computer Chess) to fix different bugs.
Further to a comment on the site (https://www.schachcomputer.info/foru...postcount=6713), do you think that asking that I be credited (only by "fixed by mychess") for this work is pretentious, excessive and without comparison with extracting a rom or writing a driver for a chess computer ?
To give you an idea, my last patch required more than 50 hours of work and the full understanding of more than 1700 lines of assembler out of the 9500 in the rom (excluding the opening library) in order to determine the modification of 3 bits out of the 190992 bits of code (2 bytes on 23874).

TMHO the credit is deserved, assuming using the patched version is optional and therefore an educated choice by the aware user (e.g. offered as an alternative device, such as the 'Novag Chess Champion Delta-1 (modified)':

Btw. Is the modified delta 1 playing stronger ??
This machine was my first dedicated chess computer , i still have it in the basement.
The modified emulation plays stronger ??

yes, of course you deserve credit for your patches, and I've done this for your first patch (cncchess2x) long time ago, but unfortunately I just forgot it for your other 4 patches - sorry.
It's just a lot of work making a new release, so it can happen that I overlook something.

I've now added a remark about your 4 patches (and you as author) in the 2 'messinfo.dat' files - will be in the next version.
