I only received the rom files, I can't find pcb photos or even a video of a V9. I do remember someone on a forum mentioning that theirs has a 40MHz XTAL. That would make more sense (20MHz actual cpu speed).

Hearing the pitch of the sound bleeps(video or audio recording) of an unmodified V9 would definitely help here to determine CPU speed.
