So you think after polgar came out they tried to make an upgrade for the academy, and this is the prototype?

2 things:

Polgar is to be said to have a size of 64 kb rom.
Academy is to be said to have 48 kb rom.

(This makes IMO sense because most often later engines grow in size, isnt milano also 64 kb ?!)


Irritating is IMO that it is said academy has smaller size (48) but in opposite to polgar (64) it has a bigger book.

Is there so much „knowledge“ in polgar engine to be bigger even with smaller book ??

Imo we can only find out by bednorz tönissen or other position tests, what is going on.

Then we can relate solution times.
I guess academy and polgar were tested, so only T+T needs testing.

We would then see if the solution times are identical to polgar, or to academy, or non of that.
