I think the CGPro has been designed for portability and using it with batteries so the emphasis has been to conserve energy. It would have been nice if it ignored energy saving when on mains adaptor but I will still enjoy using it for normal play. With the tricks that Wolfgang 2 has described, it can be made to analyse for much longer and so in reality is not too limited.
