Yes, rechargeable batteries can be good but also a pain. I've had a few battery chargers with mixed results. Some indicate the battery has charged when in fact it can no longer hold any charge. The one I use the most of all (the 270mAH one) so far is good at recognising batteries that no longer hold charge and can also revive them in some cases. I have found that if it cannot charge a battery then the battery is most likely not worth using. I have tested by charging them with another charger and they run out of current very quickly.
So I will use rechargeable batteries with the CGPro2024 but I always like a power adaptor to hand just in case!
